PORT OF NAPIER. ARRIVALS. April. 03—Fairy, s.s., from Blackhead. 24—Southern Cross, s.s., from Gisborne and Auckland. DEPARTURES. April. 23 —Onward, fore - and - aft schooner, for Wellington. -> The steamer Fairy, Captain John Campbell, returned from Blackhead last night, having successfully landed her cargo. The Union steamer Southern Cross, Captain Alhnau, arrived here at 10 o'clock this morning from Gisborne and Auckland, and was berthed inside at tl ie cattle wharf. She is dischargin_-her ca.igo, some 30 tons, into the sheds to-day, but her departure for Wellington has been postponed until S o'clock to-morrow morning, owing to the unpropitious state of the weather. The fore-and-aft schooner Onward discharged a few tons of powder and hoop iron into the Admiral in the bay yesterday afternoon and at 5 o'clock took her departure for Wellington. The steamer Maori, Capt. Anderson, is loaded up for Porangahau, and was expected to leave at 6 o'clock to-night, but the southerly weather now prevailing will probably detain her. We learn that the s.s. Kiwi, which was to have left Wellington for here last evening, has been delayed until to-night, and will not now arrive' until Thursday night. The p.s. Manaia is announced to steam for Wairoa at 11 o'clock to-morrow night. The Union Company's steamer Taiaroa, Capt. Hausby, was expected to have left Wellington during- the early part of this afternoon, and would thus be due here by by midday to-morrow. She will be tendered in the bay for mails, passengers, and cargo, and at 4 o'clock to-morrow afternoon is announced to steam for Gisborne, Tauranga, and Auckland. The launch Boojum is expected to take her departure for Wairoa to-morrow night.
