SUPPOSED DYNAMITE EXPLOSION NEAR THE IMPERIAL ARMORY AT ENFIELD.
DISASTROUS FIRE AT LIA T ERPOOL. MR KRUGER ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE TRANSVAAL REPUBLIC. LONDON. April 23. A box supposed to have contained dynamite was exploded yesterday close to the Imperial small arms factory at Enfield. The explosion did not, however, cause any damage to the factory or buildings in the neighborhood. Two blocks of warehouses have been totally destroyed by fire at Liverpool. The loss is estimated at £250,000.
