Te Anau, Captain M. Carey, arrived in the roadstead from Melbourne A-ia Southern and AVcllington at 2,30 p.m. on Saturday. She left the Queen's AVharf, Melbourne, at 2.30 p.m. on the 10th instant, and sailed from AVillhunstown at •"> p.m. : passed through Port Phillip Heads at 7.30 p.m.; had fresh S.AV. winds to Swan Island, Avhich she passed at 2.30 p.m. on the 11th, and thence strong souther!}- Avinds aud head seas; arrived at Hobart at 11 a.m., ou tbe 12th instant, and left again at 6 p.m. ; had southerly and south-east Avinds, and sighted Puysegur Point light at 1 a.m. on tlie 10th instant, arriving at the Bluff at 10 a.m. ; left again at o i>.m., and experienced tine Avcathei- to arrival at Port Chalmers. Left that port at 1 p.m. on the 1 .Stir instant, Lyttelton at G. 30 p.m. on the 19th instant, and AVelliugton at 8.10 p.m. on the 20th instant, arriving here as given above ; experienced fine weather along the coast. The Boojum attended for the inward passengers and mails, aud tlie lighters for over 100 tons of cargo. The outward passengers Avere taken off at 7 o'clock the same evening, tlie steamer getting away for the North at 8 o'clock. The steamer Maori, Captain Ander.-on, returned from AVairoa on Saturday afternoon, bringing several passengers and some fruit, She is now loading up Avith timber and stores for Porangahau, and is to get away at 0 o'clock to-morrow lib;lit. The outward mails aud passengers Avere taken off to the Union Company's s.s. Maiiapouri at 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, the steamer resuming her passage for Melbourne and the South shortly before 3 o'clock. She is telegraphed as having arrived iv AVelliugton at 10 o'clock yesterday morning. The p.:i. Manaia, Captain Baxter, returned from AVairoa at 10.1") a.m. yesterday, bringing a quantity of fruit. Sho is to leave again for the same destination at 11 o'clock on AVednesday night, The Union Company's steamer Southern Cross is telegraphed as having left Auckland ou Saturday night for Gisborne and Napier, and is expected inhere to-morrow morning. Shu will discharge her cargo inside, and at 2 o'clock is announced to take her departure for AVcllington only. The fore-and-aft schooner Onward, Capt. MeConvillo. arrived here at 10 o'clock this morning from Auckland. She lias several tons of gunpowder and hoop iron on board consigned to Mr Henry AVilliams, Avhich will be lightered in tho bay by the Admiral this afternoon, after Avhichtho schooner will proceed to AVelliugton, for Avhich port the balance of her cargo is intended. Tlie Union Steamship Company's s.s. Taiaroa, Capt. Hansby is due here from the South ou AVednesday next, and is announced to steam for Gisbonic, Tauranga, and Auckland at -I o'clock that aftcrnoom The steamer Sir Donald left for Blackhead and AVaimarama List night with a cargo of grass seed and other goods.
