The estimates of revenue and expenditure of the Hawke's Bay County Council for the ensuing year arc published, and also the estimates of the Borough Council for the same period. The nomination of candidates for the Taniumu Road Board must be made by Saturday, 28th instant, at the school-house, Tamumu, and the election, if necessary, at the same place on the following Saturday. Messrs Combs and Co. having authorised Mr W. Cato to collect all book debts due to them, same must bo paid at once, or proceedings will be taken for their recovery. Cooper invites tenders for the painter's and paperhanger's work required at Mr Heron's new building - in Emersonstreet. Mr Dugleby invites fresh tenders for the erection oi' an hotel at Puketapu. Mr Sutton, chairman of the Hawke's Buy County Council, gives notice that the road between the Meauee bridge and the racecourse, on the Meanee-Taradale road, is unsafe for traffic. Mr W. L. White has a five-roomed house on the Beach road to let. Baskets, perambulators, toys, and fancy goods of every description can bo obtained at W. L. White's, Emerson-street.
