The inquest on the Dane named Henrich Longfoot, Avho shot himself on AVednesday, .vas held ou Saturday. The AvidoAV, after giA*ing details of the occurrence, said she had been having some Avords with her husband about a young Avoman

whom lie kept company Avith and corresponded Avith, and she supposed he Avas troubled in his mind in consequence. She blamed the Avoman for causing the trouble, for he was a very quiet man. Tho night deceased shot himself Avitness acimsed him of writing- to this -woman, and told him if he did not stop the correspondence she (witness) Avould leave him. He promised not to Avrite to her any more. The jury returned aA'erdictto the effect that the deceased committed suicide Avhile iv a state of temporary insanity.
