ARRIVALS. April. 13—Omapere, s.s., from Diuiedin, Oamaru, and Timaru direct.

DEPARTURES

April. 12 —Mary Wadley, three-masted schooner, for Grey mouth. 12—Southern Cross, s.s., for Wellington. Passenger—Mr Vincent. 13 —Maori, s.s., for Wairoa and Mahia. Passengers — Messrs Stubbs, Parker, Morrell, Morris, Barry, Noble, Northe, and two others. 13—Agnes Donald, schooner, for Mercury Bay.

Tho outward mails aud passengers were taken off to the s.s., Southern Cross by the Boojum shortly after 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon, the" steamer getting away for Wellington at 3 o'clock. The three-masted schooner Mary'.Wadloy was lowed outside last evening by the s.s. Sir Donald, and set sail for Grcymouth, but did not get much of an offing until to-day, there having been little or no wind throughout the night. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Omapere, Capt. Webster, did not arrive in the bay from Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru until noon to-day, and having just hit the tide was at once berthed inside at the breastwork by the pilot. The following is a report of her passage up for which we thank Mr J. Mathie, her purser: — Left Dunedin on the Bth April at 1.30 p.m., and arrived at Oamaru on the oth at 1 a.m. ; left on the 10th at 2 a.m., and arrived at Timaru at 2 p.m.; left at 8.30 p.m., and arrived at Najrier on the 13th at 11.30 a.m. Experienced very thick weather between Dunedin and Timaru, from thence fresh head winds to Napier. The Omapere will steam at noon to-morrow for Gisborne, Tauranga, and Auckland. The steamer Maori, Capt. Anderson, got away for Wairoa aud Mahia at 12 o'clock last night, taking a number of passengers and a full cargo. The Union Company's steamer Arawata, Capt. J. Tozer, will not leave Auckland until this afternoon, and cannot in consopuencc arrive here before Sunday morning. Her advertised time of departure for Southern ports has been extended until noon on Sunday. The p.s. Manaia, Capt. Baxter, is telegraphed as having left Wairoa at 9 o'ch'ck this morning, and will arrive in port during the afternoon. The steamer Kiwi is to leave Wellington for Napier and the coast to-night, and may be expected to put in an appearance by Monday morning. The schooner Agnes Donald sailed in ballast this morning for Mercury Bay. The steamer Bella, expects to get away for Mohaka to-night with a good cargo. The Union Company's s.s. Rotomahana will be leaving Wellington to-night and is due in the bay to-morrow morning. Her announced time of departure for SycTat-y via Gisborne and Auckland is 4 o'clock on Saturday afternoon.
