A LARGE WHEAT GRANARY.
Auckland, This day. Mr J. C. Firth celebrated the. completion of his new concrete wheat granary by a banquet to his employes, the contractors and their Avorkmen. It is stated to bo the largest building of the kind in the colony, lurviug a storage capacity of 12,000 tons. The cost Avas £10,000.
