March they were—lmmigration : Auckland, 1117 ; AA'ellmgton, 474 ; Napior 5 ; Greymouth, 16 ; Hokitika, 1 ; Lyttelton, 523 : Timaru, 2 ; Dunedin, 803; Invercargill, 1005. Emigration: Auckland, 73G ; AVcllington, 402 ; Napier, 21 ; Greymouth, 12 ; Lyttelton, 51: Timaru, 1 ; Dunedin, 77; Invercargill, 1115 ; Russell, 5. During the quarter ending March, 11 Chinamen arrived in tho colony and 42 took their departure.
