Christchurch, This day. Au enquiry into the bumping of the bar-pie Monarch on the Port Chalmers bar Avas held yesterday. The captain blames the harbor authorities aud Pilot Kelly, and intends to apply for a magisterial hearing of the case iv Dunedin. The amount of demurrage, ke., Avill probably not be far short of £2000. Dunedin, This day. The Harbor Board considered in committee yesterday the re_>ort from the pilot respecting the Monarch striking 011 the bar. The Board have received no notice of the inquiry now being held tit Lyttelton, and are not represented.
