THE Napier Harbor Board, by virtue of all powers and authorities vested in < them by "The Harbors Act, 1878," do hereby make the following Bye-laws for the Port of Napier, and do hereby repeal all former Regulations (or any part or parts thereof) in anywise inconsistent with the ■ Bye-laws hereby made. CARGO SHEDS. I.—Cargo from any vessel may be deposited in the sheds during wet weather, or when the business stores are closed, upon application being made to the wharfinger by the agents ' of the vessel. 2.—A1l goods deposited iv the sheds to be removed within twelve working hours sifter the weather has, in the opinion of the wharfinger, sufficiently moderrated to allow of the removal of such goods, or after the business stores are open. A fee of three shillings per ton per diem will be charged iqwn - all goods left in the sheds after such period. o.—Tho agent of the vessel to have possession of the keys of the shed during '_ tli _ time the goods are stored therein, and to be responsible for the safe custody of such goods, and for any ' fees that, are due or may become due ' thereon to the Napier Harbor Board. ' ■1.- -The Napier Harbor Board does not hold itself responsible for the safety of any goods deposited in the Cargo sheds. EXAMINATION SHEDS. All goods remaining iv the examination - sheds beyond forty-eight hours will be charged for at the following rates.
