Bye-law of the Council of the Borough of Napier, made under special order of the said Council, dated the 17th day of. January, 1883, confirmed on the 21st day of February, 1883, and sealed with the common seal of the Council on the 21st day of Febiaary, 1883. In Pursuance of Section 31'J of "The Municipal Coi.porations Act, 1870," the Mayor, and Burgesses of the Borough of Na/picr ordain as follows ; — 1. That the following alterations and amendments be made in the undermentioned Clauses of Bye-law No. 19, vix. : — That in lino 5 of Clause 4 the word "Architect" be inserted after tho word "the" and before the word "Builder," and wherever the word " Builder " occurs, the word "Architect " be inserted before it. That the whole of Clause 7 be repealed. That Clause 10 be altered so as to read as follows, viz. :-— "AVithinNo. 1 District the whole of the external wal\s shall be of Iron, Brick, Stone, Concrete, or other incombustible material to be approved of by the Council, except tho fronts of shops o.r other bui'lings, when they may be of AVood, and rising not less than 30 'inches above the roof, measured at right angles from the pitch of the roof, and if'bir't of Brick, Stone, or Concrete, shall bo of the thick less described :n Schedule No. 2." 2.—This Bye-law shall com l into force on the Ist day of April, 1883.
