A faroAvell benefit to Madame Fanny Simonsen will be given in the Theatre Royal to-night. A special train leaves Hastings at 7 p.m., returning from Napier immediately after the performance. The members of the Scinde Lodge of Freemasons hold their monthly meeting in the Masonic Hall, Tennyson-street, at 7.30 this evening. Those interested in the formation of a Bicycle and Tricycle Club in Napier are requested to meet at 7.30 this evening at the Masonic Hotel. The members of St. John's Band of Hope meet to-night at 7.30 in the Foresters' Hall. A r oluuteer recruits parade at the drill-shed at the usual hour to-night. Mr M. R. Miller holds an important sale of lands in the rising township of Woodville, and also 130 acres in tho Heretaimga Special Settlement, at the Criterion Hotel to-morrow at noon.
