March. 30-Manaia, p.s., for Moeangiangi _ 30—Sir Donald, s.s. for Moeangiangi . «. Tbe p.s. Manaia, Capt. Baxter, returned from AVairoa at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon, with several passengers and threee tons of fruit. She started for Moeangiangi at an early hour this morning, but, finding the weather very dirty outside, returned to port at about 8 o'clock. She will leave for AVairoa at 12 o'clock to-morrow night. The Union Corapanv's steamer Southern Cross, Captain Allman. arrived in the roads from Poverty Bay and Auckland at 7 o'clock this uiorniny, and was brought inside and berthed at the cattle wharf by the pilot at 5.30 a.m. She bad v good cargo of general goods and wool for this port, the latter being from Poverty Bay for transhipment to the Johann Adolph. The Cross is to take in some -100 sheep this afternoon, shipped by Air McKenzio for Messrs Gear Bros., AVellington, and at G o'clock this evening is to take her departure for AVellington. The steamer Maori, Captain Anderson, returned from Wairoa via Arapawanui at G. 30 p.m. yesterday, bringing two passengers and a quantity of fruit. The s.s. Fairy returned during the night from Tologa and Poverty Bays via Blackhead, having a quantity of wool from the latter place. The Union Company's launch Boojum returned from AVairoa at 12.30 this moraine-, with several passengers. The steamer Go-Ahead, Capt. Doilc, is expected to arrive here to-morrow morning from AVellington and the South, and, after discharging her cargo, is announced to leave again for "Wellington at noon. Tho Union Steamship Company's s.s. Tarawera is due here at daylight in the morning from Northern port*. Sbe will be tendered as usual for mails, passengers, and cargo, and sit 11.30 a.m. is to take her departure 'for Melbourne via Southern ports. The s.s. Sir Donald took in a quantity of grass seed and stores yesterday afternoon, and at an early hour tin's morning left for Moeangiangi. Tho Union Company's steamer Suva is expected to arrive "hero during the night from Timtiru, and after discluivgi-ijf her cargo, of which there is a considerable quantity, into lighters, she is announced to steam for Auckland direct at 11.30 a.m. tomorrow. The steamer Kiwi still ranks amongst the expected arrivals, and no advices have been received as to her movements. She will iv all probability, however, arrive during tonight, and will be sailing again for Wellington -about •") o'clock to-morrow evening. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Manapouri, Captain Logan, is expected to be leaving Wellington at ."> o'clock to-night for Sydney via Northern ports, in which case she should arrive here at about 11 o'clock to-morrow. The time for the outward passengers to leave the wharf for this boat is 4 o'clock to-morrow afternoon. Shu will probably have about 120 tons of cargo to discharge al this port.
