This evening at the Theatre Royal Simousen" s Company perform the comic opera, iv three acts, "Boccaccio," the cast of which is published.

The convocation of the Royal Arch Chapter of Alasons, fixed for this evening, is further postponed till the regular meeting in June.

Air Ryan sells produce, ale and stout, oilmen's stores, two dogs, a gun, a lot of clothes in an intestate estate, and fancy goods by auction at his mart to-morrow at 11 a.m.*

Air Monteith's weekly sale of horses, vehicles, fowls, produce, ko., takes place at the Horse Bazaar at 1.30 p.m. to-morrow.

The first meeting of the Meanee Licensing Committee, for the purpose of electing a chairman, will lie held at the school-room, Taradale, at noon to-morrow.

Sealed tenders for widening approaches and lowering grade of road at Alangatarata Creek bridire a distance of 20! chains, and for forming unmade portions, completing, and improving part already made, and construction of culvert on the road between Omahu aud Okawa, will be received up to noon to-morrow at the Hawke's Bay County Council office, Napier. Tenders for supplying Messrs Knight Bros., of Hastings, with .300 cords of firewood close to-morrow. Accounts against Alossrs Groome and Co., of I-lawkstone, Puketapu, must be sent in by to-morrow, and Air Benjamin, of Taradale, and Air J. 11. Vautier, of Port Ahuriri, will sue fur overdue accounts not paid or arranged for by to-morrow. A special train runs between Hastings and Napier for the opera to-morrow evening. The members of the Napier AVorking Men's Club hold their half-yearly general meeting in the club hall to-morrow evening. Mr Al. R. Alillor, at his laud sale on Friday next, will sell in addition to the lauds already advertised, sections .30, GO, 87, and SS, "Woodville. At the next sitting of the S'urprcme Court in bankruptcy, to be held on the 11-th proximo, Angus McKay, a debtor, will make application for his discharge. Messrs Blythc and Co. are now opening up a splendid assortment of ladies silk umbrellas, and are offering same- at very low prices. Air C'olenso has the grazing paddock iv Napier lately occupied by Air A inner to let with immediate possession. Air Lincoln has found a saddle and bridle at Hastings, and owner can have same by paying expenses. Airs AVestlake, Carlyle-street, can accommodate two gentleman with board and lodging. The New Zealand Clothing Factory has now opened 30 cases of autumn goods, consisting of large varieties in men's and boy's clothing, twsiovy-, ha-t-s, biurets, ruga, ties,

&c. This is the largest, stock they have ever before opened in Napier, and therefore they havemarked their goods specially low so as to insure a speedy sale. Once more they beg to remind the general public that, as manufacturers, they arc in a position to offer goods at manufacturer's prices, thus saving the public from paying two profits. lusectibane, prepared by Air AVoods, chemist, is a powerful destroyer of insects of any description on either man or animal.
