A deputation of citizens interested in the opening up of the TeraAvhiti goldfield waited on the Minister of Alines yesterday urging the Government to grant a sum for the construction of a road to the field. In reply, Air Rolleston said he was aware of what work had been done at Terawhiti, but as yet no crushing had taken place. AVheu this had been done, and the results were at all satisfactory, he would take steps to have the road proceeded with.
