Passengers —Messrs Balfour and AVilliams. 29—Maori, s.s., for AVairoa. PassengersMrs Sargent, Master AA r aterworth, and ten natives. + The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Taiaroa arrived in the bay at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon from Southern ports, and was at once tendered for mails and passengers by the launch Boojum, and by the ketch Admiral former cargo, about 50 tons. The outward mails and passengers Avere taken off by the launch at G o'clock last evening, but the Taiaroa did not get invay for Gisborne, Tauranga, and Auckland until 10.30 p.m. The steamer Maori, Captain Anderson, left forAYairoa at 12 o'clock last night, taking a number of passengers and a full cargo. The s.s. Sir Donald returned from Blackhead shortly after midnight last night, having landed the Avhole of her cargo. Eeports li-iving- sighted the s.s. ITiiii-j-work-ing on the coast from Tologa Bay and Gisborne. The Sir Donald is loading up Avith grass-seed and stores to-day for Moeangiangi. The launch Boojum steamed for AA airoa .shortly after 12 o'clock last night, taking two passengers. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Suva is telegraphed as having left Timaru for Napier direct at G o'clock last night, and Avill in all probability arrive hero during- Friday night. She is announced to steam for Fiji via Auckland at 11 o'clock on Saturday morning. The steamer KiAvi, Captain Campbell, is telegraphed as haA'ing left AVellington for Napier at 0 o'clock on Tuesday night, but has not yet jmt in an appearance. She Avill be probably Avorking on the cost, and should arrive here to-morroAV morning. The Union steamer Southern Cross, Capt. Allman, is duo here at daylight, iv the morning from Poverty Bay and Auckland, and after discharging her cargo inside is to leave for Wellington at noon the same day. The ketch Admiral is discharging the steamer Taiaroa's cargo at the breastwork to-day. The Union Company's s.s. Tarawera Avas to lniA-e left Auckland at noon to-day for Southern ports and Melbourne, and Avill arrive here by daylight on Saturday morning. Mr J. H. Vaiitier'sthree-mastedsehooners Mary AA r adley and Frank Guy are hoth j several days out from NcAveastlo Avith coal i'or this port. Messrs ShaAv, SaA'ill and Co.'s barque Candidate, Captain Laurensen, is rapidly filling up, and as she only requires about 700 more bales AA'ill probably be a full ship by the middle of next Aveek.
