As the .spa was. still too heavy this moniinsr to bring the Union Company's steamer Omupere iii--ide ; it was decided to lighter her in the bay, and the Sir Donald proceeded off at about i 1 o'clock, btit would probably have considerable difficulty in lying alongside. Her outward passengers were to have been taken off at -1 o,clock this afternoon, thy Omapere leaving for Gisbornu, Taurauga, and Auckland at soon afterwards a.-> possible. The following is a report of her passage up the coast, kindly furnished by her purser :---

She is to take in ;i. quantity of live stock this attevnyon, :md at 1 o'clock is announced to take her departure for Gisborne and Auckland. The three-masted s'-hooner Silver Cloud, Captain CLitvk-s Bulle, lias taken in her ballasting, and expects to sail to-night or to-morrow morning for Newcastle. N.S.W. The s.s. Sir Donald will load up and leave for Blackhead on Saturday night if the sea, gens down by then. T'iu Union Steamship Company"* s.s.
