The local agent of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (limited) has received tho foUoAviug telegram from the London office of tho company, under date the loth hist. :— The wool market generally is unchanged; for superior clothing and combing, ivashcd, the market is easier, and for superior greasy, scoured crossbred, and lambs, the market is firmer. Medium and inferior grcasv has declined nearly kl to Id per lb. Up to date 208,000 bales*have been sold, and 11.3,000 taken for export. The next sales will commence on on tho 16th May, and are limited to 3-30,000 bales.
