[TO THE EWTOIt OP TIIE DAILY TELEGRAPH.] Sir, —In a paragraph published in your issue of Saturday you state that " every eifort has been made by prominent leaders of the Land League to throw discredit upon the information supplied by the informers, as their evidence went to show that their was some sort of connection between the League and the Assassination Committals. however, having , nothing , to gain by concealment, but it should be the business of the League to prove its nonpartieipatiou in any of tho outrages.' . Would you kindly quote, for the information of your readers, the evidence given by the informers which ,i/toil's some sort of connection between the League and the Assassination Committees. It is a very easy matter, Sir, to make an assertion, but a totally different affair to substantiate that assertion by proof. But, perhaps, you have information in your possession which does show the connection you indicate, and, if so, it is certainly impolitic of you to conceal such world wide and important knowledge. When you show the connection, then, I have no doubt, the League will consider it its business to prove its non participation in any of the —I am, kc, liu.su Land Leaguer. March 19, 1883. [Of Mr Egau, the secretary of the Land League, in a cablegram from New York, it is said that he denies that the funds of the League have been employed in connection with the Irish outrages. This denial shows that the charge has been made, but it does not indicate the disposal of tho .£70,000 said to be unaccounted for.—Ed. D. T.]
