15— Go-Ahead, s.s., for Dunedin direct

The steamer Maori returned to port shortly after noon yesterday with ten passengers. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Southern Cross, Captain Alhnau, arrived here from Gisborne and Auckland at about _ o'clock yesterday, but having missed the tide Avas "obliged to Avait in the roadstead until the evening. The Boojum tendered her at about 3 o'clock for mails, passengers, and luggage. The Cross discharged her carg-o a.t the cattle wharf this morning-, and at 2 o'clock this afternoon Avas to have left for Wellinu'ton only.

Tho p. arrived from Wairoa at about 2.30 p.m. yesterday, bringing a number of passengers. The steamer Go-Ahead, Captain Doile, arrived in the roadstead from Wellington during Wednesday night, and Avas brought inside and berthed at the breastAvork next morning, where she discharged her cargo diving the day, being a full one, consisting principally of transhipments out of the barque Montrose from London. The GoAhead got aAA-ay for Dunedin direct at about 8 o'clock last night. The launch Boojum, Capt. Maloney, arrived from Wairoa at about 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Before coming inside she Avent alongside the Southern Cross for mails and passengers. The Union Company's steamer Rotomahana left Auckland' at noon yesterday for Southern ports, and should be in our roadstead by daylight iv the morning, and will be tendered as usual for mails, passengers, and cargo. The outward passengers do not, hoAvever, leave the Avharf for this boat until 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The steamer Kiwi avus delayed in Wellington until last night, and Avill probably arrive here by to-iuorroAV morning-. The Union Company's steamer Wairarapa is a day late coming up the coast from Melbourne this Aveek, and will not arrive here until Sunday morning. She is advertised to sail again northwards at -1 o'clock that afternoon. (By Cable.) Sydney, Thursday. Sailed, tliis afternoon, To Anau for Auckland. Albany, Thursday. Tho P. and 0. steamship Australia, Avith the inward Suez mail, dated London, 9th February, arrived at King George's Sound last evening.
