In pursuance of the proA'isions of the " Counties Act, 1870," and the "Counties Act, 1870 Amendment Act, 1882," the County Council of Hawke's Bay do order as folloAvs, that is to say :— 1. Any pigs or goats found running at large may be impounded by any person iv any public pound or in any enclosure specially appointed for the purpose by the Council, and publicly notified. Such enclosure shall, for tho purpose of this bye-law only, be deemed a public pound, and the Hke ' fees and damages shall be payable in respect of any pigs or goats im- ' pounded therein, as in the case of a public pound. 2. The OAA-iier of any piy or jyoat found running at large shall be deemed guilty of an offence, and shall, upon conviction, forfeit and pay any sum ' not exceeding £1 for every pig or ! goat so found running at large, to be I recovered in tho manner provided by ] the 208 th section of tho "Counties 1 Act, 1870." < FINAL NOTICE.
