On Wednesday no less than 109,800 bushels of wheat Avere carried through to Lyttelton, a bigger day's Avork than has ever been done since the line Avas opened. At night Lyttelton avus so blocked that four goods trains had to Avait in the Christehureh yard till the port could receiA'c them.
