March. II Taiaroa, s.s., from Southern ports and Wellington.

11—Taiaroa, s.s., for Poverty Bay and Auckland.
The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Taiaroa arrived in the bay yesterday afternoon from Southern ports and Wellington. The 5.3. Sir Donald tendered her for passengers and mails and the lighters for some 30 tons of cargo. The outward passengers were taken off at 4 p.m., the Taiaroa steaming for Poverty Bay and Auckland later on. The s.s. Southern Cross left Gisbomo at 1 a.m. to-day for this port. The steamers Manaia and Boojum both loft Wairoa this morning at 9 o'clock.
