This day. 11 A public meeting, which was addressed by several ladies, was held last evening in the Sydenham Oddfellows Hall. Resolutions were passed protesting against the action of the licensing committeee in encouraging the erection of additional hotels, and a committee was appointed to collect subscriptions so as to employ counsel and organise an agitation against the increase of licensed houses in the borough.
