B—Sir Donald, s.s., for Blackhead and Mangakauri. B—Maori, s.s., for AVairoa. Passengers— Miss Hatten, Messrs Cummingson, Sargisson, and three others. » The brigantine Magellan Cloud, Capt Charles Richards, arrived in tho roadsteadfrom Greymouth at -1 o'clock yesterday afternoon, and was shortly afterwards berthed inside at the breastwork by the pilot. She reports having left Greymouth on tho 26 th February; passed through the Straits on Monday, aud arrived as above. Experienced fine weather throughout. She brings a cargo of 125 tons of coal consigned to the New Zealand railway. The Uni _ Steamship Company's s.s. Arawata left Auckland at -1 o'clock yesterday afternoon, with 50 tons of cargo on board for this port. She will arrive here by daylight in the morning, and at 11.30 a.m. is announced to steam for Southern ports and Melbourne. The steamer Kiwi, Captain James Campbell, left AVellington at G o'clock on Tuesday night; arrived at Castle Point at 9 o'clock next morning; left again at 12.15 p.m., and called at Akiteo and landed some cargo, rams, and passengers, and arrived in the roadstead at 5 o'clock this morning. She was berthed inside at the breastwork at 6 o'clock, where she discharged her cargo, which was a full one, during the day. Besides general goods she brought a considerable quantity of transhipments out of the Gareloch from London, aud the Rio from New York. The Kiwi will take her departure for AVellington at G o'clock to-night. The steamer Maori, Capt. Anderson, left for AVairoa at 10 o'clock last night, taking a full cargo and several passengers. The schooner Agnes Donald, Captain J. Bradly, cleared at the Customs for AVest Wangauui to-day in ballast, and is expected to get away to-morrow. The Union Company's steamship Rotomahana is to leave AA T ellingtou for Northern ports and Sydney at 5 o'clock this afternoon, having on board 120 tons of cargo and four horses for this port. She will arrive here in good time to-morrow, and at -i o'clock in the afternoon will take her departure northwards. The steamer Sir Donald, Capt. Quinlan, left last evening for Blackhead and Manga - kuri, with a full cargo of timber, grass seed, and station stores. The steamer Manaia, Captain Baxter, which was to have left for AVairoa at 0 o'clock this morning, took tho ground just after starting on the boulder bank opposite the cattlo wharf, and, as tho tide was at half ebb, became hard and fast before lines roidd be run out She will, however get off when the tide rises, and will probably leave for the Wairoa this evening.
