Mr Ryan continues the sale of the balance of the stock of tho Colonial Clothing- and General Drapery Company on the premises, Hastings-street, at 11 a.m. to-morrow. Mr Montcith sells hacks and traj) horses, buggy, kc, at the Horse Bazaar to-morroAV at 1.30 p.m., and afterwards a quantity of seeds Avithout reserve. Also, English blackbirds, and shop fittings. Tenders for the removal, re-erection, and additions to the residence of Mr Newton must be sent in to Mr Cooper, architect, not later than to-morrow. Mr Alexander Browne's monster clearing sale of summer goods commences tomorrow, and Avill last for a fortnight. The Cash Palace will be closed tomorroAV for remarking stock previous to holding final clearing sale of the season. Overdue accounts to Mr R. Holt remaining unpaid by to-morrow will be sued for without further notice. The quarterly meeting of St. John's Branch, H.A.C.8.5., is convened to be held in the usual place on AVednesday evening next. The prices of admission to the course and privileges of the Jockey Club on Thursday and Friday next (tho race days) are announced, also the return railway fares. Messrs Hoadley, Lyon and Co.'s sale of sections in tho township of AVoodville will take place at the Criterion Hotel on Monday, the 26th instant. Thursday next AA-ill be observed as a special bank holiday by the various banking establishments at Napier, Hastings, Waipukurau, AA r oodville, and Wairoa. The sum of £300 is to lend 011 freehold security. Particulars at office of this paper. Mr Sturm, fruiterer, has a large quantity of fnut, kc, always on hand at his sho}) in Hastings-street. Messrs NeAvton and Co. publish a list of goods which they ha/ye for sale. Mr Hcgh, bootmaker, in his new premises in Hastings-street, executes Avork Avith despatch, and sells boots and shoes at loav prices.
