MUNICIPAL PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE.

The Public Works Committee of. the Municipal Council held their usual meeting last evening, and agreed to recommend the Council as follows :— 1. That certain alterations (as herewith proposed) be made iv tlio terms of leasing the Woodville reserve and in those for the sale of the swamp sections lately reclaimed, and that half of these last be reserved from sale for the present. 2. That telegraphic communications be made with the new reservoir at a cost not exceeding - £45. o. That the following reports be adopted : Engineer's (except clauses 2 and :> deferred), overseer's, and inspector of nuisances'.
