The Union Company's s.s. Manapouri, Capt. Logan, arrived here at daylight yesterday morning from. Poverty Bay and Auckland, and ivas attended by the Boojum for mails aud passengers at about 7 o'clock, and by the lighters' AVhy Not and Three Brothers for cargo, some 50 tons of general goods, 100 bales of wool, and two racehorses. The outward mails and passengers Avere taken off at 10.30 o'clock, aud the Manapouri got aAvay for Southern ports at about noon.

The p.s. Manaia, Capt. Baxter, returned from AVairoa at 5 o'clock on Saturdaynight, bringing a full cargo and a number of passengers. She expects to get away again to-morrow night. The topsail schooner Awaroa, Capt. Holmes, sailed for Foxton on Saturday afteruoon in ballast.

The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Te Anau arrived here from Southern ports and AVellington at daylight this morning, and was tendered as usual for mails and passengers, and by the ketches Admiral and Three Brothers for her cargo, some 125 tons. She reports luii-ing left Port Chalmers at 5 p.m. on the Ist, and arrived at Lyttelton at 9 a.m. on the 2nd; left Lyttciton same day at 11 p.m., and arrived fit "IVcll-n-rton at -2.-.0 p.m. on tlie :._■_ : left AVellington Mt 10.30 a.m. on the Ith, and arrived at Napier as above, having experienced light variable winds and fine weather throughout. Her outAvard mails and passengers Avero taken off by the Boojum at 10.20 a.m., but she was not expected to get aAvay for Northern ports until about 2 o'clock this afternoon. The steamer Maori, Captain Anderson, left for AVairoa at 12 o'clock last night, taking a good cargo and several passengers. The s.s. Sir Donald steamed for AYainiarama at 10 o'clock last night, with a full cargo of posts, timber, bricks, and stores. The Union steamer Taiaroa is due here at daylight iv the morning from Northern [jorts, and is announced to sail for AVcliugton and Dunedin at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning. The ketch Three Brothers discharged her cargo transhipped out of the Manapouri at flic breastwork by G o'clock this morning. The three-masted schooner Mary AVadley, Capt. Lindfors, cleared at the Customs this morning for Newcastle, N.S.AV., in ballast, aud expects to sail at 3 o'clock this afternoon. In sleiving the steamer Manaia at the wharf this morning her stern line snapped, and she was carried outside by the tide. No damage, hoivever, ivas sustained, and she ivas towed back to the ivharf at about 8 a.m. by the s.s. Fairy. Tlie Union Company's s.s. Southern Cross is to leave AVellington this afternoon, and is due here on AVednesday. She is announced to steam again the same day at 4 o'clock for Gisborne, AYiripo, and Auckland.
