In pursuance of the provisions of the " Counties Act, 1870," and tlie "Counties Act, IS7O Amendment Act, 1882," tho County Council of Hawkc's Bay do order as follows, that is to say :— 1. Any pigs or goals found running at large may bo impounded by any person in any public pound or in nny cnclosurc specially appointed for the purpose by the Council, and publicly notified. Such enclosure shall, for the purpose of this byc-IaAV only, be deemed a public pound, and the like fees and damages shall be payable iv respect of any pigs or goats impounded therein, as in the case of a public pound. 2. Tbe owner of any pig or goat found running at large shall be deemed guilty of an offence, and shall, upon conviction, forfeit and pay any sum not exceeding £1 for every pig or goat so found running at large, to be recovered in fhe manner provided by the 20Sfh section of the "Counties Act, 1870." THE PETITION of the undersigned Ratepayers of the Tamumu and Oero Road Districts in the County of AVaipawa Humbly Sheweth, — r| HI AT it is desirable to alter part of the _!_ Boundary Lines between the Tamumu and Oero Districts. THAT the present portion of the Boundary Line between the Tamumu and Oero Districts, commencing at the north-east corner of Block 30, Mangakuri District, at a point where the said Block joins the Mangakuri stream, and running from thence in a southerly direction to the Omakare stream, and from thence in an easterly direction to the sea, be abolished and the following boundaries substituted in lieu thereof, viz. :■— Commencing at the north-east corner of Block 20, Mangakuri District, where it joins the Alangarara stream, thence in an easterly direction along the northern Boundary Line of said Block 20, and Blocks 28, 27, 20, 25, and part of Block 21, thence in a north-easterly direction to the northeast corner of said Block 2-1, thence in a. southerly direction along tlie eastern Boundary Line of said Block 21, to the south-west corner of Block 23, thence in an easterly direction along the southern BoundaryLine of said Block 23, to its southeast comer, thence in a southerly direction to the north-west corner of Block 38, thence in an easterly direction along the northern Boundary Line of Blocks 38 and 39, to tbe north-east corner of Block 39, thence in a northerly direction to tho northeast corner of Block -10, theneo in an easterly direction along the northern Boundary Line of Block -10 to the sea. Your Petitioners therefore pray that the present described Boundary- Lines betAveen the Tamumu and Oero Road Districts be altered, and tlie iioav Boundaries as hereinbefore described substituted in lieu thereof.
