This day
The workmen employed in cuttiii™ , a race for the Humphrey's Gully Goldmining Company struck gold in the race between Doughton and the inlet end of the tunnel. It is believed to be payable. It is also reported that gold has been struck in the Ross Extended Company's prospecting shaft.
