In pursuance of the provisions of the " Counties Act, 1870," and the "Counties Act, IS7G Aniuiidiiit-.it Act, ISS-2," the County Council of Hawke's Bay do order as follows, that is to say :—- ---1. Any pigs or goats found running at large may be impounded by any person in any public pound or iv any enclosure specially appointed for the ptirpox; by the Council, and publicly notified. Such enclosure shall, for the purpose of this bye-law only, be deemed a, public pound, and the like fees and damages shall be payable iv respect of any pigs or goats impounded therein, as in the case of a public pound. 2. The owner of any pig or goat found running at large shall be deemed guilty of an offence, aud shall, upon conviction, forfeit and pay any sum not exceeding .£1 for every pig or goat so found running at large, to be recovered iv the manner provided by the 20Sth section of the "Counties Act, 187 G." THE PETITION of the undersigned Ratepayers of the Tamumu and Oero Road Districts in the Count}' of AVaipaiva Humbly Sheweth, — TipHAT it is desirable to alter part; of the JL Boundary Lines between the Tamumu and Oero Districts. THAT the present portion of the Boundary Line between the Tamumu aud Oero Districts, commencing- at tho north-east corner of Block 30, Mangakuri District, at a point Avhere the said Block joins the Mangakuri stream, and running from thence in a southerly direction to the Omakare stream, and from thence in an easterly direction to the sea, be abolished and the following boundaries substituted in lieu thereof, viz.: — Commencing at the north-east comer of Block 29, Mangakuri District, where it joins the Mangarara- stream, thence in an easterly direction along the northern Boundary Line of said Block 29, and Blocks 28, 27, 26, 25, and part of Block 21, thence iv a north-easterly direction to the northeast corner of said Block 21, thence in a southerly direction along the eastern Boundary Line of said Block 2-1, to the south-west corner of Block 23, thence in an easterly direction along the southern Boundary Line of said Block 23. to its southeast corner, thence in a southerly direction to the north-west corner of Block 38, thence in an easterly direction along the northern Boundary Line of Blocks 38 and 39, to the north-cast corner of Block 39, thence in a northerly direction to the northeast comer of Block 10, thence in an easterly direction along the northern Boundary Line of Block -10 to the sea. Your Petitioners therefore pray that the present described Boundary Lines between tho Tamumu and Oero Road Districts be altered, and the new Boundaries as hereinbefore described substituted in lieu thereof.
