The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Manapouri, Capt. Logan, arrived in the roadstead at about G o'clock on Saturday evening from Melbourne and Southern ports, having left Wellington at 9 o'clock on Friday night, aud experienced rough easterly weather along the coast. The launch Boojum tendered her on arrival for passengers and mails, the luggage having to be left on board until Sunday morning owing to the heavy lumpy sea running in the bay making it dangerous to lie alongside. On Sunday morning, the sea having gone down considerably, the Boojum towed the ketch Admiral out for her cargo, some 50 tons. The outward mails and passengers were taken off at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, the Manapouri resuming her passage for Gisborne and Auckland soon afterward.

The steamer Kiwi, Capt. Campbell, shipped a quantity of hides and general cargo on Saturday afternoon, aud at 4 o'clock toolc her departure for Wellington. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Oniapere, Captain Webster, arrived here from Dunedin, Lyttelton, and AVellington during last night, and was berthed inside at the breastwork this morning, where she is discharging her cargo consisting of some 65 tons of general goods. She is to steam for Gisborne and Auckland at 4 o'clock this afternoon. The steamer Maori took hor departure for Wairoa shortly after 12 o'clock last night, with two passengers and a full cargo. The Union steamer Taiaroa is due hero on Wednesday next from the South, and is announced to steam for Gisborne, Tauranga, and Auckland at 4 o'clock that afternoon. The p.s- ilanaia, Cupt. Baxter, is expected to leave for Wairoa at 10 o'clock tonight taking passengers and cargo. A three-masted schooner dropped anchor in the roadstead shortly before our report left the Spit Ibis afternoon, which will probably prove to be the Mary Wadley, L. K. Lindfors, coal laden. The lighter Admiral discharged the s.s. Manapouri's cargo at the breastwork tins morning.
