February 24. The Chamber of Deputies to-day passed a motion expressing confidence in the new Ministry recently formed by M. Jules Ferry, " and approving of the proposal that the Bonapartist pretenders should be cashiered from the army. February 25. A decree under the hand of President GreeA-y has been issued placing the Dukes of Alencon, d'Aumale, and Chartres, noAV holding commissions in the French army, upon the retired list.
