Mr Lyndon will sell at his auction room to-morrow at noon the whole of Mr P. S. Macdonald's valuable stock-in-trade of cloths, tweeds, fancy coatings, kc Nominations of candidates willing to serve on the Licensing Committees for the Napier North, Central, and South licensing districts for tho ensuing year must be delivered at the Town Clerk's office, addressed to the returning officer, Mr G. W. Culleu, before noon to-morrow. Unless redeemed a bay marc will be sold at the Taradale pound to-morrow. A free entertainment in connection with the Napier Christian Temperance Association will be given in St. John's school-room to-morrow evening. A petition from ratepayers in the Tamumu and Oero road districts to the Waipawa County Council is published, praying the Council to alter part of the boundary line between the said road districts, and substitute fresh boundary lines described. In addition to the stock already advertised, Mr Monteith will sell at the Horse Bazaar on Saturday a draught horse, subject to trial in harness. The Colonial Clothing and General Drapery Company, next Holt's timber yard, Hastings-street, invito the working men and tradespeople of Hawke's Bay to go at oiicc and secure their cheap drapery and clothing. Messrs Hardy and Sidoy have just received a fresh shipment of copper and enamelled furnaces, Leamington stoves, colonial ovens, and seed riddles. Mr F. West, Roslyn road, has cabbage and cauliflower plants for sale. Two bunches of keys have been found. Apply at the Masonic Hotel.
All debts owing to Mr James White, Redely _, not paid by March 3rd, will be sued for without further notice. Mr Selig extends the time for the receipt of monies due to him iv his estate to March 4th. Bui-rough's beef and iron wine is procurable from Mr Woods at the Apothecaries Hall, Hastings-street. A number of new advertisements will be found in our " Wanted " column. ______
