PORT OF NAPIER

ARRIVALS. February. 20 —Taiaroa, s.s., from Auckland via Gisborne. Passengers—Master G. Carter, Messrs Macfarlane, Taylor, Chapman, E. Meloy, G. Ward, and Larkins.

DEPARTURES

February. 20—Taiaroa, s.s., for" Wellington and Southern ports. Passengers—Messrs McDonald, Neal, Norman, and Carmichael.

The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Taiaroa arrived in the roadstead at G o'clock this morning from Northern ports, and Avas tendered for inward passengers by the launch Boojum, which also lightered her cargo, somo five or six tons. The Taiaroa reports having left Auckland at midnight on the 17th instant, and arrived at Gisborne at 10 a.m. on the 19th ; left again at 6 p.m. the same day, arriving here as given above. Her outward southern passengers Avero taken off at 10 a.m., the steamer getting away at about 11 o'clock. The p.s. Manaia's'departure for AVairoa has been fixed for 6 o'clock to-night.

The steamer Kiwi, Captain James Campbell, which left Wellington at 8 o'clock last night for Napier via the coast, will be due here by daylight to-morroAV morning. She is announced to leave again for the_ same place at 6 o'clock on Wednesday evening. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Southern Cross is telegraphed as having left Wellington at 6 o'clock last night, and will arrive here during this evening. She is to be brought inside to discharge her cargo, and at 3 o'clock to-morrow afternoon is announced to steam for Gisborne, Tauranga, and Auckland. The Launch Boojum, Captain Maloney, is to steam for Wairoa at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning, taking passengers. The steamer Maori, Captain Anderson, is to leave for Wairoa at 10 o'clock to-night, with a full cargo and several passengers.

[by telegraph.] Lyttelton, This day. Geared, ship City of Delhi for London, with 5355 bales of wool, 2383 sacks of wheat, and 36 bales of skins. The cargo is valued at £78,000.
