Section 2 lias a small frontage to the Taupo-road, and is bounded on one side by the Mohaka river. Sections 3 and 4 have frontage to the Taupo-road. Alauugaharuru District: Fern hills and spurs on the ivestcni slopes of the Alauugaharuru range, the soil is light, about one half of Section 2 is undulating country covered Avith natural grasses. Section 3is good pastoral land. Section 4 has frontage to Taupo-road. A foiv clumps of bush are scattered about on Section 1. AVaitara District: Open fern countri-, hilly. Any pigs or goats found running at large may bo impounded by any person in any public pound or in any enclosure specially appointed for the purpose by the Council, and publicly notiiied. Such enclosure shall, for the purpose of this byc-htiv only, be deemed a public pound, and the like fees and damages shall be payable in respect of any pigs or goats impounded therein, as~ in the case of a public pound. 2. Tho owner of any pig or goat found running at large shall bo deemed guilty of an offence, and shall, upon conviction, forfeit and pa}- any sum not exceeding £1 for every pig or goat so found running at large, to be recovered iv the manner provided by the 20Sth section of the "Counties Act, 187 G."
