Februaiy. 10 —Southern Cross, s.s., for Wellington. 17—Riugarooma, s.s., for Southern ports and"" Melbourne. —Passengers —3lr and Mrs Robson, Mr and Mrs Melville and two children, Misses Bella (2), Bicknell, and Cooper, Mrs Bell and three children, Mrs Cooper, Messrs Pointer, A. McLean, Haslem, Ayson, Faulknor, Millmau. Ho<rsr, Wilson, Sainsbury, Harding, McKenzie, Shield, and Spry.
The- Union steamer Southern Cross took her departure for Wellington shortly before 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon. She will be ret liming' up the coast early next week. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Kinjrarooma, Capt. Edie, arrived in the roadstead at daylight this morning from Northern ports,' and was tendered at 7 o'clock by the Boojum for mails and passengers, 'and by the ketch Three Brothers for cargo, some 30 tons. The Ringarooma report/havinpr left Auckland at noon on the 15th; arrived next day at Gisborno at- 1.30 p.m., and left again heiico at 5.30 tho same evening, reaching the anchorage as above. Her outward passengers were taken off at 11.45 a.m., and the steamer took her departure for Melbourne and Southern ports at 12.45 o'clock. The steamer Fairy returned from Blackhead during tho night, bringing a quantity of wool. Tne Union Steamship Company's s.s. Arawata, which left Wellington at 5 o'clock last night, arrived in the bay shortly after 10.30 a.m. this day, but was not tendered by tho launch for mails and passengers until she took those outwards off to the s.s. Ringarooma, the s.s. Sir Donald tendering for her cargo, some 40 tons, and a number of valuable" sheep. The following is a report of her passajre, for which we arc indebted to Mr Weber, her purser:—Left Dunedin on the 14 th, Lyttelton on the loth, and Wellington on the 16th at 5 p.m. Experienced fine weather all up the coast, and arrived at the roadstead as above.
[by cable.] Albany, Friday. The P. and 0. Company's steamship Xizam arrived in King George's Sound last night, with tho inward Suez mail, dated London, January 13.
