A sitting of the District Court for the despatch of civil and criminal business ■will be holden at the Court House. Napier, at 11 a.m. on Monday. The time for receiving tenders for the erection of an hotel 111 Woodvillc for Mr M. McKenzie closes at noon on Monday ; and Mr Cooper will receive tenders not later than Monday for the removal and rcerection and additions to the Exchange Hotel, Havelock. Applications for unsold cash sections at Manawatu and Wanganui Avill be received at the Crown Lauds Office, Wellington, on Monday. Ai'ce'ptances for the Napier Handicap, "Railway Stakes Handicap, and Handicap Hurdle Race, to be run at the Jockey Club's annual meeting, close at 8 p.m. on Tuesday next. The Rev. D. Sidey invites tenders for the purchase of town section No. 116, Tennyson street, together with the building thereon known as the Napier Girl's School. Several special prizes, to be awarded at the forthcoming show of the Horticultural Society, arc announced. The autumn and winter's stock of clothing, hosiery, -flannels, &c, will shortly arrive at the local branches of the New Zealand Clothing Factory, which is described as " the largest and cheapest clothing , emporium in the colony." Mr Joseph Parker, the trustee, authorises Mr Henry Sclig to collect all debts due in his (Selig's) estate. Mr M. R. Miller has Akaroa, Hawera, and Makaretu cocksfoot, and local and foreign rye grass seed for sale. Mr Pli. Bisson, next to Cohen's furniture warehouse, Hastings street, is selling his stock of boots and shoes at 25 per cent below cost price. Mr J. G. G-ilbcTd has a Singer's challenge bicycle for sale. In our supplement to-day Messrs Combs and Co., of the Cash Palace, quote reduced prices for sewing machines, in order to effect a decrease. Mr Ziegel, the local manager of the New Zealand Clothing Factory, informs the public that, owing to his early departure South, ho is prepared to take orders for measure made suits, which will be executed under his personal supervision. Cooper's dip can be procured in any quantity from Mr Woods, chemist. A number of new advertisements will be found ill our " Wanted " column.
