MESSRS. BANNER AND LIDDLE'S WOOL SALE.
3lessrs Banner and Liddle report:—We held our third wool sale of this season in our wool stores, Spit. There was a good attendance of buyers, and the tone of the sale was fairly brisk. Of 200 bales offered, the bulk found buyers at prices fully equal to late rate, crossbred, lambs, and merino fleeces showing a slight advance, quality and condition considered. Most of the lots withdrawn were disposed of after the sale at satisfactory prices. Merino, greasy fleece, realised up to Od, and faulty do. do. 7id to Bid; crossbred greasy fleece, 7d to 8d; do. "do. lambs, 7{.cl for dingy parcels, Sd to S?.d for bright half and three-quarter-bred ; pieces and locks, 3d to 4|d. Scoured crossbred lambs fetched lid : do. do. pieces, 104 d: do. do. locks, Sd: scoured merino, small lots, Is.
