TRAINING NOTES FROM DUNEDIN.

The best spin was done by Tai;;roa, Somnus, and Aurora in company; they Avent on c e round at a good smart pace, Somnus (Avho is coming on well) havim: decidedly the best of it at the finish. Lady Emma is looking remarkably well, and apparently has quite recovered from her mishap; she did useful work income: ivy with Matanaka, but the pace was not fast. Idalium, who has joined James Cotton's team, Avas treated to two rounds on the pan in company with Adamant; the son of Idalium moved freely, and seems to be shaping promisingly. Gitana did some fairly strong work alone ; she also appears to have improved of late. Gang Aav,i and Carrigeeu did steady Avork. Several other horses were treated to slow exercises.
