Auckland, Yesterday. The trial of W. W. Gudgeon, charged with attempted rape on Mrs Eln-eilfried, has not concluded. Some remarkable correspondence was read. Mrs Ehrenfried denied utterly any familiarities or criminal intimacy -with the accused.
