England v. Australia.

[by carle.] Sydney, Yesterday. I The third match between the Hon. Ivo Bligh's eleven aud the Australian cricketers commenced to-day. The teams are exactly the same as those which played in Melbourne last week. The greatest interest is being taken in the match, both here and in the other colonies. The weather was fine during the day and the ground was in good order, with a capital Avicket. The Hon. Ivo Bligh won the toss and sent his team in first. They succeeded in putting together 247. Messrs Read and Tylecotc batted carefully but grandly for 66 each. Most of the other batsmen obtained double figures. The Australian bowling was somewhat loose, but their fielding was very good.
