A NATIONALIST CANDIDATE DEFEATS A GOVERNMENT SUPPORTER IN IRELAND. CONSOLIDATION OF THE BONAPARTIST FORCES. ANOTHER PHASE OF THE EGYPTIAN QUESTION. ARRIVAL OF THE ZULU KING IN HIS TERRITORY. LONDON. January 24. Mr T. M. Healy, M.P. for Wexford, Mr Michail Davitt, and Mr Quinn the leaders of the Irish National League, avlio Avere summoned last month for making seditious speeches, have been again brought up for trial. The case closed to-day, and the defendants Avere required to find heavy bail that they Avould keep the peace, or undergo six mouths' imprisonment each. The election for a A-acaucy in the representation of MalloAv, Ireland, in the Hauso of Commons, took place to-day, and resulted in the return of Mr O'Brien, the Nationalist candidate, avlio defeated the other candidate, an avowed Government supporter, by a considerable majority.
