Air Forbes will deliver his last lecture in Napier at the Theatre Royal this evening, entitled "Warriors I Have Known," and, to give country residents an opportunity of hearing same, a special train will leave Hastings at 7 p.m., calling- at stations en route, aud returning immediately after the lecture. The members of the Napier Fire Brigade are requested to meet at the station this evening- at the usual hour. Captain Blythe requests all members of the Napier Rific A r olunteers to attend at the Council Chamber on Satiu'day evening for the purpose of taking the oath under the new regulations. Mr AI. R.
