CLIVE.
The meeting of the householders for the annual election of a district School Committee Avas held last night. The report showed that the average attendance of pupils at the school A\*as 141 out of 186 on the roll. The statement of accounts shoAved a debit balance of £16. The folioAving Avere elected the committee for the ensuing year :—Messrs F. Sutton, M.H.R., Orr, Lcyland, Mcllroy, Dean, Alley, and Tucker. At the meeting of the ucav Committee Mr Sutton Avas elected chairman and secretary.
