January 21. Intelligence is to hand of a serious railway accident on the overland line between San Francisco and Omaha. The train bound for-the former place slipped while ascendin"" it steep gradient and rolled over the embankment. The engine and all the carriages were shattered to pieces. So far as it is at present known tAvcnty passengers have been killed, and a number of others are seriously injured.
