January 15. Additional tenders for the amount of £100,000 have been received for the Victorian loan. The list will be closed on Wednesday next, when any balance unapplied for will be withdrawn. The emigrants from the ship Wild Deer, which was wrecked at North Rock on the 13th instant, have arrived at Belfast. They leave there to-night for Glasgow, whence they will be reshipped to New Zealand by the ship Caroline, which will leave at an early date.

The various Colonial Agents-General waited to-day on Earl Kimberlcy, late Secretary of State for the Colonies. Sir Alexander Gait, the High Commissioner for Canada, addressing Lord Kimberlcy on behalf of those present, expressed regret at his Lordship's severance from the Colonial Office, but hoped that his interest in the colonies would not be lessened thereby. Earl Kimberlcy, in reply, thanked the visitors for their kind expressions, and assured them that he would continue to take a warm interest in colonial affairs.

A man named Thomas Higgins, who was found guilty of participation in the Lough Mask murder, was hanged to-day at Galwav.

Earl Derby, Secretary of State for the Colonies, received the various Colonial Agents-General to-day. Sir Alexander Gait, - the Canadian High Commissioner, congratulated Earl Derby on his appointment to the Colonial Office, and expressed confidence in his Lordship's desire to promote tho interests of the colonies. Earl Derby, in reply, said that he was gratified with the kind expressions of his visitors, and hoped that their intercourse would be of a friendly character, and tend to promote the welfare of the colonies. The Right Hon. W. E. Gladstone started to-day for Cannes, in the south of France, on a trip for the benefit of his health.
