Evett, M'Lean, Ruddock, Hapuke, Ihaia, Buckman, Thugar, James Siddels, Balfour, C. Kennedy, L. Hart, F. C. Russell, Eehiana, and 15 natives. 12—Manaia, p.s., from Wairoa, with 35 excursionists. 12—Omapere, s.s., from Wellington and Southern ports. Passengers—Messrs Mahoncy, R. Roberts, and G. D. Turner. 13 Mary Wadley, three-masted schooner, from Greymouth. 13—Wandering Chief, barque, from Newcastle, N.S.W. The Wairoa steamers Manaia, Maori, and Boojum, left the Wairoa in the above order at about 8 o'clock yesterday morning, and arrived here during the early part of the afternoon, each having a large passenger list, the Manaia having in addition 8 racehorses and 29 cases of apples. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Omapere, Captain Webster, arrived in the bay from Wellington and the South last night, and was berthed inside at the breastwork at-1 o'clock this morning, where she discharged her inward cargo, about GO tons, besides some 200 prize sheep. Her time of departure has been extended until 4 o'clock this afternoon, when she is to steam for Gisbome, Tuuranga, and Auckland. The barque Wandering Chief, 417 tons register, Captain Brown, arrived in the roadstead from Newcastle, N.S.W., at 10 o'clock this morning. The following is a report of her passage, kindly furnished by her captain:—Sailed on December 27th, with very light wind from the East, which continued up till noon of the 28th, when it shifted to N.E. andX.: from then till January 3rd winds about north with fine weather; on January 3rd at 8 a.m. the wind suddently shifted to S. and S.E., blowing a fresh gale; on January 4th at 9 a.m. sighted Mount Egmont; on the Stli the winds was S.W. to N.W., and at 8 p.m. lighted Brothers light in Cook's Straits, when the wind shifted to S.E., fresh; at 10 a.m. on the Sth passed Capo Palliser; thence to Napier light variable winds and calms. On January 2nd, in latitude 39 - lSs, longitude 16S-42E., passed a large buoy adrift, built of wood, with iron hoops, the shape being an inverted cone. She brings a cargo of 700 tons of coal consigned to Messrs Richardson and Co., which she will commence to discharge into lighters next week. After her discharge is effected she will be placed on the berth to load wool for London on behalf of her charterers, the New Zealand Shipping Company. The three-masted schooner Mary Wadley, Captain Lindfors, arrived here tliis morning at (3 o'clock from Greymoutli, after a good passage of six diiys. She brings a cargo of coal consigned to the Napier Gas Company. Tho Union Steamship Company's s.s, Arawata is telegraphed sis having- left Wellington at 0.00 o'clock last night, and will probably arrive at about 4 o'clock this afternoon. Her cargo for this port consists of wme 50 tons, which will be tendered for by the ketch Admiral. The Arawata will he leaving again for Northern ports as .soon after 4 o'clock this afternoon as practicable. The steamer Maori, Capt. Anderson, will be leaving for Mohaka at 5 o'clock on Monday morning. The brigantiuo Kenilworth, Capt. Cross, lias cleared at the Customs in ballast for Oamaru via Pelorus Sound, and will y,robably get away before Monday. The steamer Kiwi, Capt. Campbell, is to leave Wellington at o o'clock and will put in. on appearance here hy daylight on Monday morning. She is ? t miounced to leave again for Wellington at G o'clock on Monday evening. The topsatl schooner Zior., Captain Moore, expects to sail on this evening's tide for Greymoutli in ballast. The Union Steamship Compaiiv's .s.s. Ringarooma, which left Auckland'at noon yesterday, will be leaving Gisbomo tonight, and will arrive here by daylight tomorrow morning. Her outward" Southern passengers and mails arc announced to leave the wharf by the Boojum at 10 a.m. tomorrow. The s.s. Fairy i.s loading up with timber to-day for Blackhead, and will probably sail on Sunday evening. The three-masted schooner Carl Graf Attems, Captain Brticl, is to clear at the Customs this afternoon for London, with a cargo of wool,, and will be sailing on the first favorable opportunity. The s.s. Sir Donald, Captain Quinlan, ia to leavo for the Coast to-morrow night. [by telegraph.] Lyttelton, January 13. Arrived, Stinker, ship, Captain Crocker, from London, 92 days out, with 4G passengers, all well;. Girlie from Mauritius. [by cable.] I Melbourne, January 12. Arrived, this morning, steamship Te Anau from tho Bluff.
