All nominations, entries, and acceptances, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, must be addressed to the Secretary, and left at the Criterion Hotel, Napier, not later than 8 p.m. on the several specified dates. Tho rules and Aveights of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club -will be strictly adhered to. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes.
