COMMISSION TO ENQUIRE INTO CONDUCT OF IRISH PRISONS.
MR. BIG GAR COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. LONDON. January 2. A Commission has been appointed to enquire into tho conduct of the various Irish prisons. Air Big-gar, M.P. for Oavan, has been committed for trial on the charge of vilifying the Viceroy of Ireland. Bail lias been accepted.
